Why blue paper towel and not regular white paper towels?
Blue shop towels (lint-free, the kind used in surgical or industrial settings) have a tight weave that doesn't shed fibres into the cracked taproot, hold water more evenly, and are the industry-recommended cannabis germination substrate. Plain white paper towels can shed lint that gets trapped in the radicle, causing damping-off or stunted seedlings. PPS's internal QC tests germination using blue paper towel — and our guarantee is calibrated to that method.
Do I need to document everything in writing?
