Obama Kush (Auto) feminized seeds grow a compact, resin-heavy, indica-dominant plant that goes from germination to harvest in 87 to 100 days, with no change to the light schedule. Genetics & Lineage

Obama Kush Auto is rooted in two foundational indica lines, Afghani and OG Kush, combined with ruderalis genetics to bring in the automatic flowering trait. Afghani gives the dense bud structure, the heavy resin and the earthy, hash-like depth. OG Kush adds terpene complexity, a sharper pine note and the cerebral edge that keeps the effect from sitting entirely in the body. The result is about 70% indica, which shows in the compact canopy and the weight of the finished colas.

Aroma, Flavour & Effects

Caryophyllene leads the terpene profile, with limonene, pinene, linalool and myrcene in support. Caryophyllene brings the spicy, peppery layer and is one of the few terpenes that acts directly on the body's CB2 receptors. Pinene gives the sweet pine note on the exhale, limonene adds a citrus lift, myrcene deepens the earthy base and linalool rounds it off with a soft floral touch. The aroma builds through flowering and becomes much stronger in the final two weeks, so a carbon filter is strongly recommended indoors.

The effect is balanced: a warm body relaxation paired with a clear, uplifting mental lift. It suits the evening, but it rarely pins you to the couch at moderate doses.

Growing Profile

Obama Kush Auto performs well indoors, in greenhouses and in temperate outdoor conditions. Flowering starts on its own around weeks 3 to 4 after germination, and the full cycle runs 87 to 100 days. Indoors, expect 350 to 450 g/m²; outdoors, 200 to 450 g per plant depending on container size and light. Sown outside in late May, after the last frost, it is ready from late August to early September, well before the autumn frosts. Plants stay at 60 to 100 cm, ideal for grow tents and low-clearance spaces.

Start the seed in its final 10 to 15 litre pot, run 18/6 or 20/4 lighting indoors, and use gentle low-stress training (LST) early on rather than topping: autos have little time to recover. Moderate feeding and a pH between 6.0 and 7.0 in soil are enough to reach its yields.
